The red pills

 I bought a jet lag remedy before heading out— it’s called FlyKitt. Totally got sucked in from a long-form testimonial commercial on a podcast I follow. It includes 4 kinds of supplements, a pair of light-blocking glasses (I think the technical term for them is “sunglasses!”) and a customized plan delivered through their app that tells me when to eat, when to sleep, when to take the melatonin, the cherry powder or the caffeine. Oh, wait, hold on a second, I have to take two of the red pills now. Those have vitamin C and the cherry powder. 

I slept— according to my plan— on my flight from LAX to JFK. Now I stay awake until 5 pm, chug a couple of the melatonins (those are the blue ones) and then sleep. How well, I suppose will greatly depend on who sits next to me on the next flight which is 16 hours.
